This ritual bath is a 2 part ritual intended to heal the perception of your "self." The herbal mixture helps you to feel at peace with yourself and in turn can aid in the areas of self worth, attractiveness, confidence and courage.
1 Cup Calendula blossoms
1 Cup Red Raspberry leaves
(Fresh herbs work best)
Yellow and Pink candles
Your favorite teacup, or bowl
Pot for boiling water
Bowl for mixing your herbs
Natural spring water - you will be drinking part of this so make sure its clean water but not from a tap
First boil about 4 cups of water.
While you're waiting, mix your herbs. Once the water is boiling, remove it from the stove and add your herbs and stir. Allow to steep for 20 minutes.
While your infusion is steeping, run yourself a nice hot bath.
Once the mixture has steeped, strain enough of the mixture to make yourself a cup of tea.
Dump the left-over in your bath. Some people like to strain the herbs completely and just add the liquid infusion. Others like to bathe in the loose herbs. You can also place the steeped herbs in a muslin bag and add them to your bath to avoid the mess.
Light your candles - traditionally, the candles are supposed to be placed yellow to the left and pink to the right of the tub but if that isnt possible, that is ok. Just having them near the bath works just as well.
Enter the bath and while soaking, drink your tea.
This bath should be a long, hot soak. 30 minutes at least. It can be done any time of the day or night.
